Insulin-Like Growth Factor I (IGF-1)

IGF-1 (7649 Da) is a polypeptide protein hormone consisting of 70 amino acids. It is produced primilary by the liver as an endocrine hormone as well as target tissues in a paracrine/autocrine fashion. IGF-1 play a pivotal role in regulating the proliferation, differentiation and specific functions of many cell types
