Summary

ß2-microglobulin occurs in blood, urine, and body fluids. It has been reported that its concentration in blood varies in humans under pathological conditions such as glomerular disturbances, autoimmune diseases, malignant tumors and hepatic disturbances, while its concentration in urine is subject to changes by urethral disturbances and by the changes in its concentration in blood.
