Summary
IGFBP-2 is a unglycosylated polypeptide of 31.3 kDa, which forms binary IGF°Complexes and shows no circadian rhythm in the circulation. At cellular level IGFBP-2 seems to stimulate the proliferation and dissemination of solid tumors via an IGF-independent mechanism.
