Prolactin Rat ELISA

Summary

Prolactin is a hormone of molecular weight ca. 20,000 which is secreted from anterior lobe of pituitary, and enhances the growth of mammary gland and milk secretion in the Mammalian. In studies with animals, it becomes possible to detect abnormalities of hypophysis adenoma, and abnormalities of secretory modulation mechanism and secretory functions by measuring the concentration of blood prolactin.
