Albumin - for Serum - Immunoassays

Human serum albumin is the most abundant plasma protein. The variation in serum albumin concentration provides valuable information related to metabolic diseases and in urine to microalbuminuria as the first clinical sign of renal dysfunction in patients with diabetes. Various immunoassays including ELISA are used for the determination of albumin in urine.
